Great Reads on Nix’s Return

As announced on Monday, both Zack Martin and Louis Nix plan to return to Notre Dame for the 2013 season.

While neither player’s return comes as a total shock, Nix’s decision to stay at Notre Dame is a bit more of a surprise, as many believe the defensive tackle is ready for the next level. Still, the Jacksonville, Fla. native elected to pass up NFL for one more season at Notre Dame Stadium.

Like teammate Manti Te’o before him, Nix said he wants to share Senior Day with his loved ones, especially his mother, Stephanie Wingfield.
