New Year’s Day Notre Dame Marathon

If you’re a college football fan, it doesn’t get much better than New Year’s Day. If you’re a Notre Dame fan, today is even better.

Beginning at noon ET, NBC Sports Network is airing ten straight hours of Fighting Irish coverage.

Here’s the schedule:

• 12:00-2:00 pm: Michigan at Notre Dame
• 2:00-3:00 pm: Onward Notre Dame – South Bend to Soldier Field
• 3:00-5:00 pm: Stanford at Notre Dame
• 5:00-7:00 pm: Pittsburgh at Notre Dame
• 7:00-9:00 pm: Wake Forest at Notre Dame
• 9:00-10:00 pm: Undefeated – 2012 Notre Dame Football Season in Review

So there you have it. An entire afternoon/evening’s worth of Notre Dame football, with none of the anxiety that comes with watching a live game.

Of course, that pressure is all just being bottled up for six days from now.
