Irish In The NFL – Week Six

Throughout NFL training camps, 41 former Notre Dame student-athletes participated in team drills and games. At the end of camp, 27 (24 who finished their career at ND) former Irish football players made active NFL rosters, while three were put on the injured reserve and practice squads. Below, you will find all the former Notre Dame student-athletes and how they did in their week six games in the NFL.

Active Roster

Sam Young – OL – Buffalo Bills – saw game action in a 27-24 loss to Cincinnati

Will Yeatman – OL – Miami Dolphins (Transferred to Maryland) – BYE WEEK

Brady Quinn – QB – New York Jets – did not see any game action in 19-6 loss to Pittsburgh

Darrin Walls – CB – New York Jets – started at defensive back at registered three tackles in 19-6 loss to Pittsburgh

Tyler Eifert – TE – Cincinnati Bengals – caught two passes for 13 yards in a 27-24 win over Buffalo

Trevor Robinson – OL – Cincinnati Bengals – did not see game action in 27-24 win over Buffalo

Ryan Harris – OL – Houston Texans – started at tackle in 38-13 loss to St. Louis.

Cierre Wood – RB – Houston Texans – did not see game action in 38-13 loss to St. Louis

Sergio Brown – S – Indianapolis Colts – tallied one tackle in a 19-9 loss to San Diego

David Bruton – S – Denver Broncos – saw action in 35-19 win over Jacksonville

Anthony Fasano – TE – Kansas City Chiefs – was inactive in 24-7 win over Oakland

Manti Te’o – LB – San Diego Chargers – recorded five tackles in 19-9 win over Indianapolis

Justin Tuck – DE – New York Giants – recorded three tackles and a pass deflection in a 27-21 loss to Chicago

Theo Riddick – RB – Detroit Lions – saw action in 31-17 win over Cleveland

Joe Fauria – TE – Detroit Lions (Transferred to UCLA) – caught three passes for 34 yards and three touchdowns in 31-17 win over Cleveland

Robert Blanton – DB – Minnesota Vikings – recorded one tackle in 35-10 loss to Carolina

John Carlson – TE – Minnesota Vikings – caught two passes for 10 yards in 35-10 loss to Carolina

Kyle Rudolph – TE – Minnesota Vikings – caught nine passes for 97 yards and a touchdown in 35-10 loss to Carolina

Zeke Motta – S – Atlanta Falcons – BYE WEEK J.J. Jansen – LS – Carolina Panthers – Saw action in 35-10 win over Minnesota

Derek Landri – DL – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – did not see game action in 31-20 loss to Philadelphia

Michael Floyd – WR – Arizona Cardinals – caught five passes for 44 yards and a touchdown in a 32-20 loss to San Francisco
