Irish In The NFL – Week 10

Golden Tate had a fantastic day yesterday for the Seahawks

Throughout NFL training camps, 41 former Notre Dame student-athletes participated in team drills and games. At the end of camp, 27 (24 who finished their career at ND) former Irish football players made active NFL rosters, while three were put on the injured reserve and five on practice squads. Below, you will find all the former Notre Dame student-athletes and how they did in their week 10 games in the NFL.

Active Roster

Sam Young – OL – Jacksonville Jaguars – saw action in 29-27 win over Tennessee

Will Yeatman – OL – Miami Dolphins (Transferred to Maryland) – saw game action in 22-19 loss to Tampa Bay

Brady Quinn – QB – St. Louis Rams – did not see game action in 38-8 win over Indianapolis

Darrin Walls – CB – New York Jets – BYE WEEK
SEASON: Has seen action in all nine games, starting three while tallying 17 tackles and four pass deflections.

Tyler Eifert – TE – Cincinnati Bengals – caught three passes for 55 yards in 20-17 loss to Baltimore
SEASON: Has started all ten games this season for the Bengals, catching 30 balls for 362 yards and a touchdown.

Trevor Robinson – OL – Cincinnati Bengals – was inactive in 20-17 loss to Baltimore

Ryan Harris – OL – Houston Texans – saw action in 27-24 loss to Arizona

Sergio Brown – S – Indianapolis Colts – saw action in 38-8 loss to St. Louis
SEASON: Has seen action in all nine games this season, tallying eight tackles and a fumble recovery.

David Bruton – S – Denver Broncos – made two tackles in 28-20 win over San Diego

Anthony Fasano – TE – Kansas City Chiefs – BYE WEEK
SEASON: Started five games (inactive for four games due to injury), catching 11 passes for 95 yards.

Manti Te’o – LB – San Diego Chargers – registered five tackles in a 28-20 loss to Denver
SEASON: Started six games (inactive for three games due to injury), tallying 31 tackles.

Justin Tuck – DE – New York Giants – registered two tackles in 24-20 win over Oakland
SEASON: Has seen action in all nine games this season, starting eight, accumulating 32 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

Theo Riddick – RB – Detroit Lions – did not record any statistics in 21-19 win over Chicago

Joe Fauria – TE – Detroit Lions (Transferred to UCLA) – caught one ball for 25 yards in a 21-19 win over Chicago
SEASON: Has seen action in all nine games, catching nine passes for 106 yards and five touchdowns.

Robert Blanton – DB – Minnesota Vikings – recorded seven tackles in 34-27 win over Washington
SEASON: Has seen action in all nine games, recording 18 tackles on the season.

John Carlson – TE – Minnesota Vikings – caught seven passes for 98 yards and a touchdown in 34-27 win over Washington
SEASON: Has seen action in all nine games this season, catching 18 passes for 159 yards and a touchdown.

Kyle Rudolph – TE – Minnesota Vikings – did not play due to injury in 34-27 win over Washington
SEASON: Has started every game this season before getting injured, catching 30 passes for 313 yards and three touchdowns.

Harrison Smith – S – Minnesota Vikings – did not see action (injured) in 34-27 win over Washington

John Sullivan – OL – Minnesota Vikings – started at the center position in 34-27 win over Washington

Zeke Motta – S – Atlanta Falcons – saw game action in 33-10 loss to Seattle

J.J. Jansen – LS – Carolina Panthers – Saw action in 10-9 win over San Francisco

Derek Landri – DL – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – saw action in 22-19 win over Miami

Michael Floyd – WR – Arizona Cardinals – caught two passes for 31 yards in 27-24 win over Houston
SEASON: Has started all nine games this season, catching 36 passes for 464 yards and two touchdowns.

Ronald Talley – DL – Arizona Cardinals (Transferred to Delaware) – saw game action in 27-24 win over Houston

Ian Williams – DL – San Francisco 49ers – Did not see game action (Injury) in 10-9 loss to Carolina

Golden Tate – WR – Seattle Seahawks – caught six passes for 106 yards and a touchdown in a 33-10 win over Atlanta
SEASON: Has caught 41 passes for 574 yards and four touchdowns on the season and has two rushing attempts for 29 yards.
