Irish In The NFL – Week 11

Throughout NFL training camps, 41 former Notre Dame student-athletes participated in team drills and games. At the end of camp, 27 (24 who finished their career at ND) former Irish football players made active NFL rosters, while three were put on the injured reserve and five on practice squads. Below, you will find all the former Notre Dame student-athletes and how they did in their week 11 games in the NFL.

Active Roster

Sam Young – OL – Jacksonville Jaguars – saw action in 27-14 loss to Arizona

Will Yeatman – OL – Miami Dolphins (Transferred to Maryland) – did not see action due to injury in 20-16 win over San Diego

Brady Quinn – QB – St. Louis Rams – BYE WEEK

Darrin Walls – CB – New York Jets – saw action in 37-14 loss to Buffalo
SEASON: Has seen action in all 10 games, starting three while tallying 17 tackles and four pass deflections.

Tyler Eifert – TE – Cincinnati Bengals – caught one pass for 15 yards in 41-20 win over Cleveland
SEASON: Has started all 11 games this season for the Bengals, catching 31 balls for 377 yards and a touchdown.

Trevor Robinson – OL – Cincinnati Bengals – saw action in 41-20 win over Cleveland

Ryan Harris – OL – Houston Texans – saw action in 28-23 loss to Oakland

Sergio Brown – S – Indianapolis Colts – saw action in 30-27 win over Tennessee
SEASON: Has seen action in all 10 games this season, tallying eight tackles and a fumble recovery.

David Bruton – S – Denver Broncos – made two tackles in 27-17 win over Kansas City

Anthony Fasano – TE – Kansas City Chiefs – caught four passes for 37 yards and a touchdown in 27-17 loss to Denver
SEASON: Started six games (inactive for four games due to injury), catching 15 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown.

Manti Te’o – LB – San Diego Chargers – registered five tackles in a 20-16 loss to Miami
SEASON: Started seven games (inactive for three games due to injury), tallying 36 tackles.

Justin Tuck – DE – New York Giants – registered two tackles and a pass deflection in a 27-13 win over Green Bay
SEASON: Has seen action in all 10 games this season, starting nine, accumulating 34 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

Theo Riddick – RB – Detroit Lions – did not record any statistics in 37-27 loss to Pittsburgh

Joe Fauria – TE – Detroit Lions (Transferred to UCLA) – caught one ball for 14 yards in a 37-27 loss to Pittsburgh
SEASON: Has seen action in all 10 games, catching 10 passes for 120 yards and five touchdowns.

Robert Blanton – DB – Minnesota Vikings – recorded two tackles in a 41-20 loss to Seattle
SEASON: Has seen action in all 10 games, recording 20 tackles on the season.

John Carlson – TE – Minnesota Vikings – caught five passes for 69 yards in a 41-20 loss to Seattle
SEASON: Has seen action in all 10 games this season, catching 23 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown.

Kyle Rudolph – TE – Minnesota Vikings – did not play due to injury in 41-20 loss to Seattle
SEASON: Started every game this season before getting injured, catching 30 passes for 313 yards and three touchdowns.

Harrison Smith – S – Minnesota Vikings – did not see action (injured) in 41-20 loss to Seattle

John Sullivan – OL – Minnesota Vikings – started at the center position in 41-20 loss to Seattle

Zeke Motta – S – Atlanta Falcons – recorded first career tackle in 41-28 loss to Tampa Bay

J.J. Jansen – LS – Carolina Panthers – MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Derek Landri – DL – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – saw action in 41-28 win over Atlanta

Michael Floyd – WR – Arizona Cardinals – caught six passes for 193 yards and a touchdown in 27-14 win over Jacksonville
SEASON: Has started all 10 games this season, catching 42 passes for 657 yards and three touchdowns.

Ronald Talley – DL – Arizona Cardinals (Transferred to Delaware) – saw game action in 27-14 win over Jacksonville

Ian Williams – DL – San Francisco 49ers – Did not see game action (Injury) in 23-20 loss to New Orleans

Golden Tate – WR – Seattle Seahawks – caught one pass for 26 yards in a 41-20 win over Minnesota
SEASON: Has caught 42 passes for 600 yards and four touchdowns on the season and has two rushing attempts for 29 yards.
